This, That & Help Please
The amazing Megan of Sorta Crunchy once told me, “The cardinal rule of balanced blogging is always LIVE FIRST, blog later.” Lately, I’ve been heeding her sage advice. I’ve missed you, though.
And, I have so much to share with you. All in good time. I thought I’d start with some long overdue odds and ends – a little of this, a little of that and a plea for your creative input.
First, your emails checking in, asking for pictures…they make my heart so happy. Thank you for thinking of me and my family. It is so hard for me to believe that in just a few weeks, Little Man is going to be SIX MONTHS old! What?!?! He and AE have such an amazing connection. I have been soaking up the moments. I’ve been radically present. I’m so grateful. (And, if you want more pictures, here is a slide show of our 1st four months as a family of four.)
Second, right before Thanksgiving, I asked the oh so talented Abby, of Dear Abby Leigh (she is my go to gal for all branding, consulting, & general wordsmithery needs) to help me freshen up things around here. And did she ever! You can check out some of her handiwork here and here.
But, she also worked with my awesome designer, Mike of Artist Dork, to make this little corner of the internet a bit easier to navigate! You can now easily visit the virtual yoga studio by clicking on the button at the top of the sidebar here on the blog. And, when you are in the virtual yoga studio, you can easily get back to the blog with the sidebar button there.
If you registered for any of the open yoga classes, you can access the series pages through buttons in the sidebar of the virtual studio. You will just need the password emailed to you to play the videos.
Finally, Abby had the fantastic idea that we should name the virtual studio. “The Virtual Yoga Studio at Every Breath I Take” is a bit unwieldy. She and I tossed around a few ideas, but nothing shouted, “Pick me, I’m the one!” So, I thought I’d crowd source it.
Do you have the perfect name for our virtual yoga studio? Comment below; share your ideas on twitter or Facebook. If I choose your name selection, I’ll give you free access to a virtual yoga series!
Thank you for joining me here. I’m beyond grateful for you!
I have no idea what a good name for your studio would be, but I love, love, love your 2 new about pages! Love.
Thanks, Anne. Abby. Is. Awesome. Love her so!
Jen! This is a great idea! Let’s get some brain storm fodder 🙂
Should be fun, right?! So grateful for you and your awesomeness, Abby!
That Abby! She is so gifted. I’m so glad your partnership worked out so wonderfully!!!
I am completely drained of any creative juice at the moment, so I can’t think of anything off the top of my head for your virtual yoga studio, but I’m going to think on it and see if anything pops into my (mostly fried) brain!
Thank you, Megan for introducing me to her! And for the encouragement to live first, blog later. Love ya!
Totally understandable…2 babies eat 2x the brain, right?! Hehehe!
LOVE your new pages!! They are awesome!
How about something that incorporates your idea of meeting in our living rooms to practice together in the name of the virtual studio? Something like “The Yoga Living Room” or “Living Room Yoga”?
I think you are on to something, Stephanie!
Ooh. I love Stephanie’s idea. That whole living room thing is great!
