I've recently started to think of self-care as the way I "mother" myself. Of course, I want to be a kind, loving and nurturing mother.
Unfortunately, the bar is often set impossibly high...exercise for 30 minutes a day, meditate for 15 minutes a day, eat a perfect diet, get 8+ hours of sleep each night, etc...and I end up being a bossy, demeaning mother to myself, with the "not enough" messages.
In this video, I'm sharing what I do to take the best care of myself in just five minutes a day.
